Any suggestions for a muffler that is lighter than stock and has good low-mid range performance?

Blue_moon_girl:

For every 12 pounds that you can lighten your
BUELL you will get "ONE ROLLING HORSE POWER"
that will not show up on a DYNO ...

Get a FACTORY MUFFLER RACE KIT !!!

Or do like "i" did, modify the stock exhaust
system ... Have a 97S3T ... ie: 1)Put a 99 muffler on the 97 header ... 2) Put another
outlet on the right rear of the muffler which
gives low end torque and the sound is not
all that loud either ... 3) Put do the header
wrap thing ...

Wileyco Stainless, Ti, Carbon, all are lighter.
The carbon one scares me....speed bumps, ya know.
( I got Ti )

so just drill/cut a hole and weld in another exhaust tip? Sounds like what I'll do. Price is right!
