I have a nice clean Black & Gold 05' XB12R for sale that I picked up last year. I rode the bike for about 3 months on the street then converted it to drag race for a while while building a sportster based drag bike. I've brought it to the track about 5 or 6 times. The motor is all stock internally. Mods to the bike are: Hawk exhaust, K & N Air Filter, American Sportbike open air box mod, ECMSpy map adjusted / dyno tuned. I put a Pingle strut & wheelie bar on the bike. As well as a Shinko Hook Up Drag radial on the rear. Strapped the front down. Removed the mirrors and signal lights.(picture shows mirrors & signal lights still on). If someone wanted a good dependable bike to bring to the track and just ride & race.....this is a good one. (Not a bunch of wrenching between rounds like a lot of race bikes). The good thing about this bike is also.......if you wanted to return it to street trim it would be very easy to do. I intentionally did not start hacking things up when converting to race trim. The mirrors can be screwed back on. The signal lights can be plugged back in (didn't cut any wires). The stock shock can be put back on and the front strap simply removed......Voila! Back to street trim. Bike has about 12,500 miles on it (I'll need to look at it to get specific mileage). Bike is garage kept and is on a battery tender. It's got a few small scratches and the coating on the rear wheel has a spot or two where its flaking but other than that this is a real nice bike. Please ask if specific pictures are needed. $4500.00 Thanks for looking.
