Who"s gonna win the championship?? It looks to be a tight one to the end. Can Herrin pull it off?? There are rumors of Herrin going to moto2. Don't know if that would happen. I'm betting Pegram retires this year and is a team owner next year. Roger retains his Jordan ride. Eslick will be no doubt looking for a ride next year. Cardenas will stay where hes at. Young needs to go but money keeps him there?? It will be interesting to see if Yates stays or is gone next year. I believe May will stay on board with EBR. |

I think Hayes should change brands to prove he is indeed good and its not just the bike. I would love to see him on an EBR and put the chase on the yamis |

Hayes developed the bike and it fits him like a glove. The EBR is awesome. But just now getting electronics...its going to take time to develop them also. EBR needs horse power!! |

I think Bads1 meant Chris Clark and his dads money not Blake Young whose dad apparently didn't have enough money to overcome his kids bad attitude at times. (Message edited by svh on August 09, 2013) |

Looks like most of the teams are testing at RA America this week with today the final day. Lets see if Herrin can hold the lead in points in his second year?? Will Roger Lee continue to be a threat?? Will h Hayes sweep it and get another Championship?? Also who will be riding for who next year?? |

If he does good for him he deserves it till some young gun can actually put in a ride to beat the old man. |

I'm interested to see whos riding what. I hear Tommy Hayden has been training and riding motocross a lot. Would be nice to see him ride next to his Brother. Like I said earlier Pegram needs to invest in a rider. I also think Ulrich should get Westby on a 1000. |

It has been very quiet mostly I think because of the lack of races. Less time to hear "paddock chatter". Westby should be on a 1000 not Ulrich. Pegram won't retire yet I don't think maybe 1 more year. I don't think Eslick will be with Jordan next year unless he had a 2yr deal. EBR I am guessing will be the same next year. Yamaha will be the same unless Herrin goes overseas then it could be Cam if he doesn't go overseas. Suzuki will be Cardenas and ??? I can't imagine they will keep at the Clark experiment too much longer. I am just hopeful AMA can put together a FULL schedule next year and secure good sponsorship to stay afloat. |

I have speed channel on cable, but not CBS sports. I'll watch the live timing on the mobile app and yell at my phone, then watch the race on Youtube two weeks later when I know how it turned out, but it's just not the same. Heck, I bought a Google Chromecast mainly just to watch these races. |

Your probably right that Larry won't retire. But his Yamaha was a lease and a Graves bike to boot and I can't see him bank rolling 1 bike for himself again. Westby I really wish he would go Superbike and help develop the 1000. It could truly be a good bike in the series. Eslick??? He plain is not the rider he can be. He doesn't look like he has tried. Infact to my understanding he hasn't even thrown one a away in testing to push the bike. At this level if they don't..... they aren't pushing to find the limits. The RSR EBR's I'm waging they may not be back. Bad luck has been the rule of thumb for sure starting with Daytona. (Message edited by bads1 on August 29, 2013) |

Westby won't be on a 1000 Honda unless they find enough money to run 2 bikes. Ulrich is no where near ready to retire and he is way too big to ride a 600. |

Bads, I have to agree with Westby statement. He's the man but not the man for a 600. He's lost so much weight just to stay even with the top runners. Secondly, Since Aaron is now helping develop the 1190 like Geoff but in the motor/speed dept, I don't see him going anywhere next year either. |

Bads, Have you ever met him? He's skinny as the rest of them but he's a gorilla compared to the other guys. He knees stick out 6 inches further than anyone else under braking and he has a hard time ducking under that screen going down the straight. The dude is big, not heavy and he did loose a ton of weight as of last season to be more competitive. |

Phoon, Actually yes several times. Talk to him on FB often awesome guy. He shorter then me I'm 6' 1. Aaron Yates is my same height. Rossi is 6 foot. Where are you going with this??? Theres plenty of tall riders |

Dana he was agreeing with you that Westby should be on a 1000 as well. Westby complained the last couple years about having to lose so much weight to attempt to stay competitive on the smaller 600s. Maybe complained isn't the right term. I'm 6' and I was taller than Yates in the EBR pit this year. Maybe he is shrinking. |

Sam I was next to him as well. But heres AMA link with his age and weight and such this year. Hes actually slightly heavier this year. That probably due to his accident in 2010 and time off. http://amaproracing.com/rr/riders/rider.cfm?did=32 75 |

I heard a rumor as well that the CBR 600 has stainless valves instead of the titanium that the other brands are running. Is this true? |

If I remember correctly ( and I may be out of date now....) Suzuki tried titanium valves in the GSXR600/750 a couple of years ago and had major 'issues' with quality. Honda said at that time that they have stuck with stainless steel so far as they don't see an advantage in putting Ti vlaves in a street engine, and some series won't allow them anyway. It may have changed since I read that though, as things in racing seem to change by the day these days |
