I'm getting a P0193 fuel pressure circuit high. Bike seems to run fine. Have the EBR racing ECM.

What, if any, maintenance has been done to it lately or this year? Please be specific.

Go into diagnostic mode before start-up and scroll through to fuel pressure (kPa). See what you're getting at start-up, idle and 4000 rpm. "Correct" pressure is about 500 at start-up and about 400 from idle to 4000.

I am around 500-550 at start up around 400 at idle and 500 at 400rpm

Would the race ECM have anything to do with it?

Race ECU shouldn't have changed it much. Mine runs a little higher than manual numbers but I attribute some of that to just randomness. I haven't thrown a high-pressure code, though.

Next step is to check the fuel pressure sensor on the fuel rail for good electrical connection and continuity to ground and ECU. Voltage to sensor should read about 5V. Continuity/ground checks should be less than 0.5 Ohm.

In order of likelihood:

Bad connection to pressure sensor.
Fault in the harness (not a fun item to troubleshoot)
Bad pressure sensor
Bad ECU - (unlikely, but possible)

The voltage on the cluster for the fuel pressure sensor shows 7v

I was getting the P0193 and P0087 errors along with a P0562 (system voltage) code. My fuel pressure showed approx 500 at startup and 400 at idle but bike ran like crap above 5K. Turned out to be the Negative wire on battery was starting to get loose, but just barely. The connector worked loose over a course of a year n a half so it just crept up on me.
Might be something to check out.

Maybe run a healthy dose of injection cleaner through the system and see what happens. Yep - there are several grounds on the bike and it's been said before - if one works loose, weird things happen.

The Diagnostic Manual walks you through the troubleshooting procedure, which can be somewhat involved. From what I got from it, the process is to check sensor, all wire connections and finally ECU. If I had a convenient way, I'd post up DM Section 6.19
