I think you're right, all the photos I've found indicate there should be nothing there. Any idea what it's for? |

Buell had that spare hole put there for all the people that believe that there has to be a problem with their bike , after all a Buell can't just be Ok can it ..... so they put the spare hole there so that you can still think there's a problem when in fact your bike is just as reliable as any other out there on the road |

Thats for your muffler bearings,don't use the red bearings though the black ones are much better. |

It was never used. Possibly for the full fairings that never made it into production, or a potential mounting point for the exhaust. |

Kevman, with the amount of clanking and rattling it's sometimes hard to believe that it's working as it should be . However, since it just came back from having a new stator and rotor installed, it wouldn't be too far fetched that the HD tech forgot a couple of screws somewhere. |
