I have a 2009 1125R and my cousin (AK_addict) recently bought a 2009 1125CR. I have the 2008 Buell 1125R service manual. Can this manual be used to get torque specs for front pulley and rear wheel on the CR? Did Buell make a separate manual for the CR's? And are these torque values different between years and models(R vs CR)? I also want to remove the rotor (to get oil hole drilled) and stator (rewound) on the R. Can I use this 2008 manual to do these jobs? Thanks! |

The 2008 manual will be different for the rotor and stator slightly .... make sure you use the correct Torque setting for the rotor which is 295ftlb |

Kevman.....are you sure about 295 ft-lbs for model year 2009? 2008 manual says tighten to 280-290 Nm (207-214 ft-lbs). |

The 2008 MY used the wrong thread lock (green stuff)... They revised the torque specs for it to be 295 ft-lbs with proper thread lock. |

I can tell you first hand that if you go by the 2008 Service Manual when R&Ring the stator rotor you WILL have problems. |

Get the 2010 service manual, It is the most updated with all the correct specs. Those 2009 manuals posted around online seem to be missing a few crucial pages. I ordered mine from a HD dealers website and they shipped it to me (Message edited by bartone on June 19, 2013) |
