Money has been returned and now I feel kinda bad for the Flame job. I don't have much patience or tolerance for someone not keeping their word. I apologize for calling him a thief and a P.O.S. I have dealt with him - he can be slow to respond but he eventually did come through. Don't know about the particulars of your issue, hope it works out. | ||

At one time he had a lot of parts listed and I believe he sold most of them. Don't recall anyone getting burnt. I might have also bought something from him but can't be sure. Obviously I know nothing about your specific situation and I might have also been upset if it happened to me. But all that said, keep in mind that something could have happened to him - accident or worse. If you had sent me money and if I had run off the road on my way home tonight you'd probably never hear back from me. I guess I would be called a thief as well. Just another way to look at the world... Hope it works out for you. | ||

A couple years ago, I was involved in an accident on the bike, went down and shattered my leg. I had an exhaust that I sold on ebay, and had yet to ship it out (was planning on shipping it that day, as a matter of fact) but obviously it didn't happen. First thing on my mind, was contacting the buyer and letting him know what was happening with me every step of the way. It was my girlfriend at the time that lent a hand, packed it up and shipped the system out, albeit a week late. Point is, I would have had to been dead for me not to take care of selling something to someone, and it wasn't even a forum member, just a random buyer on ebay. | ||

I bought a tank bag from a member on this board nearly a year ago,paid for it and never received it. Now I believe said member was going through a divorce or separation at the time,but yet he was advertising the tank bag for sale.I understand that problems in your daily life can sometimes cause you to fail to meet obligations in a timely manner,but I did pay for the bag and would rather have it than the money.You would think that a year would be sufficient time to either ship the bag or if you are unable to do so refund the money. I like to give members of this board the benefit of the doubt as we are like one big extended family and I keep hoping that he will come around to making this right. | ||

Glad you got hold of him finally. Not sure if I would ever go the slash and burn route though. You can't take back the word "THIEF", but then I am probably more cautious about purchasing items in a marketplace with no safeguards for either party. | ||

Well as a man of my word I find it hard to deal with people who don't do what they say they will. I realize thief is kinda harsh but if it keeps someone else from getting burned then that was the key purpose. I do now regret calling him a thief but at the time and after maybe five email attempts and several P.M. attempts to straighten the issue out I felt it justified. You can judge me however you like , but if I say I will do something you can consider it done. I won't bore you with all the details of why I posted what I did. He did return my money plus about $20.00 for some reason , but I still don't have the primary cover I needed. This was not really about the money at all just about a Man and his word. Mark | ||

a.b., your expectations were not out of line . the TOTAL LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION is unacceptable. the understanding is that one party sends money, the other person PROMPTLY ships the goods. had you not pitched a bitch, you would still be grabbing your ankles, he'd be happily spending your money. good for you for making a point and getting results. none of this had to happen | ||
