Hi Rob,

We don't stock these yet but we can get them to your door in around 10 days PLUS we just lowered our price on them to only $142 to your door! They can be ordered from our site.

Regarding performance, the dyno charts listed on the site were from TM and were from their bike that was custom tuned with the stacks so I wouldn't expect those gains without doing the same although as you can see in this thread folks have noticed some modest gains without tuning.

Let us know if we can help!

Pretty strait forward installation, except for that bolt I dropped down into the chassis depths.

Runs smooth, I love my CR

Need new tires prior to any more testing

Easy install. Only complaint was the issue getting the rear clip to seat solidly, as some others here have noted. My resolution was about 30 seconds worth of swirling the retaining clip (both sides) on a disc of 220 grit stuck to a pane of glass- popped right in after that.

Everything but the stacks is bone stock; first impression is much better intake sound on full-throttle opening in all gears, but especially 3rd gear roll-on. Calibrated Ass Dyno suggests small HP gain from 2k-9k, but don't quote me on that. One very noticeable change is the way the bike behaves when closing the throttle abruptly- it seems to transition from power to engine braking much more smoothly.

One question I have for others who have installed these stacks- have you noticed that your bike will now occasionally stumble and die when opening the throttle quickly from idle? It happened to me a couple times, but I cannot replicate it, so perhaps I was just having a moment of noobishness.

I have the same impressions as most. They fit well for me and install was easy. It seems to make the throttle response smother and quicker, and it seems to have cleaned up the low rpm surging even more than just the EBR ecu. The throttle sound at wot is louder but it sounds really cool. I'm running stock exhaust with the EBR ecu and a k&n air filter. Very pleased with the stacks! Would buy again.

you should do some research into using an elliptical shape with an integrated ring of vortex generators fins at the leading edge, it will smooth and narrow the boundary air flow and with that it will be like running a larger body. Though if done may have to do a fuel remap to prevent lean condition.

yea a little bit. But its all just airflow dynamics.

Steven - try riding with your LEFT hand on the throttle.
Lets your right hand wake up...

I haven't added my two cents.. but that's because, well, I couldn't really tell a difference. My '08 had an EBR ECM and Barker before the stacks. But to be fair, I couldn't really tell a difference between the EBR ECM and the stock tune--my bike ran just fine, IMO, with the factory calibration.

I have a suspicion that my bike is down on power. That said, I had my dynoed at MotoGP at Indy in '11, right before an '09 R and we both put down almost the same power. But I've also raced my buddy's bone stock 1098 Streetfighter and he easily puts half a dozen bikes on me from 60-120. He weighs about 50 lbs less, but in theory, my 1125 should make enough extra power to negate that weight difference.

Just ordered a set and will post up my thoughts after install...and winter thaw.

Current setup, EBR ECM, Barkers, K&N, Inner airbox removed.

So...installed my stacks and a quickshifter. First, let me start by saying whomever designed the circle clip idea for the new stacks is a twisted, somewhat sadistic individual. It can be done without taking the lower airbox off, but everyone do yourselves a huge favor and remove it. I promise it will take less time to pull it and put it back on, than it does to try and get the clip back on the front stack with the lower still on.

Riding impression...smoother everywhere. Idled bike through town at 2k RPM without herky jerky stumbles. Mid range is somewhat better power wise...top end felt a bit better.

On a hunch, I replaced my inner airbox cover, road it again back and forth to work. The low and midrange gains made from removing the airbox cover seemed to still be there...and upper range (110+) oh boy.

Seems the low and midrange gain is similar to having the inner removed, and stacks plus inner removed wasn't much better that having the stacks and inner on...upper range RPMs and speed, having the inner on and the stacks made a huge difference.

My verdict: If you like running no inner airbox (like me for a long time), get a set of stacks and put the inner airbox cover back on. Keep the down low power of running open, still have the ram air for high speed. Its the best of both worlds.

Since adding the quickshifter and stacks, my friend with a 954RR does not like me as much >; )
