Ok, so I know I have said this before, but I have finally found some time to fix up my 1125R race bike to sell.
It's getting a new frame, and a general tune up/refresh. When ready, it will have - A low hours '09 1125 engine purchased new from EBR An '08 stator and rotor (lighter and free from problems) Full set of Flexiglass Gen II fan less race bodywork (narrower than the original) Carbon/Kevlar Engine guards 1st gen EBR race exhaust (slightly different than what they offer now, more midrange, less top end) EBR race ECM Showa Race fork cartridges - ,95 and 1.0 springs Showa Race shock 3 bearing rear wheel EBR 5mm front rotor and hardware Light Race Sub Frame Race wiring harness Race clipons and bars 2015 front pads K&N air filter Dunlop race slicks with one race weekend on them. You could by the bike today and race it tomorrow... so to speak. I want $4500.00 as above, but... There are some things that I would do for a serious buyer prior to a final sale. Paint - The frame is new, but the swing arm has some minor scratches. My plan is to paint them the same metallic black that I painted the 1190. If you would like a different color, I could do that now, but not later. The body work needs repainting. Choose your color, one color... ok maybe two. Top triple clamp - is a modified stock clamp and its ugly. Master Cylinder - is stock Clipons and bars - modified to work with stock master cylinder, functional, not pretty Shifter - stock If you want the above changed, I will do so for whatever I can get the components for. The bike has no title and cannot be registered as it was built from a Buell test bike. (most of that bike has been replaced) So if you are really interested, speak up now, or I will finish it as I choose. PM me with questions. Sorry for the long post. |

Stock motor except for 08 stator/rotor. If you want DSB motor, we can talk. Now would be the time. |

What's your price to trade a dsb for stock motor? Stock motor has 1200 miles |

Always the wrong timing. If this would've come up two months from now when I get home I would take it. |

What's your price to trade a dsb for stock motor? Stock motor has 1200 miles I don't have a price, as I don't have a DSB motor. The motor I have could be upgraded. I would speak with EBR to figure what that would cost. Old frame is off -
New frame is painted -
Swingarm is next, then valve adjustment. |

Unless something completely unforeseen happens, it goes with the bike. |

OK, so frame and swingarm are pained and the bike is pretty much ready for body paint. Valve clearance done. Timing chain guides look good, new plugs, bike runs great. I placed the bodywork on the bike to think about color options and I have to say that, with the white wheels, I'm liking the Black and White color scheme a lot. Question would be leave the side fairing white, or go black for a dominantly black look. Opinions?

Here is a rough idea of what black fairing would feel like.

I have not gotten any response from my buyer to my recent emails re color and paint, so I must assume that the bike is still available to others. I hope to finish it this week and as of now I will go with the metalic black and Hot Rod Sparkle White combination. Please contact me if you are interested. |
