I have a race header and can I plan putting on in the near future, Can someone tell me what type of mounts they use, Or pictures. I have the stock header and a Vance and Hines can on it now, Thanks in advance for your time. Chuck. |

The race can only has rear mounts. The collector of the header has a "shoe" type mount that clamps to the header then bolts to the normal front single or the preferred Y mount. The rear mounts are two stainless steel straps. I'll see if I can get a pic later today. |

Here's the picture, finally! I put a "shoe" in front, it clamps to the header like I mentioned above.

As you can see it doesn't use the "Z" bracket like a stock muffler. |

See my post here for a far stronger alternative to the race header front mounting shoe http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/705131.html |

Thanks again guys, It looks as if I could make those up. Or by any chance would anyone still make these?? When I purchased the race can there were no mounts with it. |

Charlie, if needed I can take some measurements. They are just stainless straps, maybe 1/8" thick. You will have a tough time finding them.. |
