does anyone have any experience with Zepto turn signals from "Hightechspeed"? I was looking to put a set of kellerman turn signals on my S1W to replace the turn signal I broke yesterday...the garage is getting way to crowded!!!! while searching for the best price for kellerman L.E.D turn signals I came up with the Zepto lights. over 350 lumins I think, and they are programmable to flash, strobe, pulse and a few other settings. CNC cut with the brightest L.E.Ds out there. I bought a set for the front as I am running the motodynamic integrated tail light/turn signal on the rear. they are less expensive than the Kellermans, the shop is here in the U.S. and they give a military discount. anyone used them? I should have them by the weekend. see the web site: http://hightechspeed.com/products/Zepto/ |

They shipped quickly, they showed up today and they're really cool seem to be made very well!! Saturday or Sunday project! They have multiple settings and can be run as a pulsing, or steady running light with high intensity turn indicator. Photos to follow when I get a chance. Had to replace neutral light switch on moto guzzi v11 sport and work on a house project.... Time for an adult beverage and dinner! Turn signals this weekend! |

here are a few photos of the zepto lights, might try and install them tomorrow, however Ive got a home project hanging over my head and a few things to get sorted as I prep to build the motor on the Triumph thruxton and few other things that need to get sorted...anyway... these appear to be very well made, machined body, metal circuit board, and after talking to the guys on the phone they say that to get yellow they use super bright blue L.E.D and cover them in yellow, which is much brighter than standard yellow L.E.D, they really appear to be very well made, its also the first time Ive seen a wiring harness for a turn signal set up with the head phone style jack..interesting approach! two wires coming off the body in a headphone style jack, into the postage stamp size "brain" that has 4 wires coming out of it. black - ground/Red - low intensity (running lights)/Orange - high intensity(signal light)/ yellow - program wire (each time you touch the yellow wire to 12vdc it toggles the function of the light from optional settings like pulse, strobe, etc.. I think I will set them up as running lights in a slow strobe with the high wire being a flash for turn signal, with only a round headlight for the front end, we can get kinda lost in the sea of traffic so some bright cool small pulsing running lights might be kinda cool on the S1

motodynamics sells an integrated tail light that is LED, super bright, and it is the stock configuration as the x1 and s1 tail light for about 80.00. they flash when you brake and they light up for turn signals with the flasher on. these zepto lights can be set up as run/flash or brake/turn so that they come on and pulse when braking and then flash brighter with signal on - or vice versa. but if you are looking for a stock configuration tail light that flashes when you first step on the brake, check out the motodynamic light for sale on ebay. I bought 4 of them with a clear lense...moto guzzi uses the same light as the buell x1 and s1 as does the ducati monster.... the guys at hightechspeed were great to work with and they REALLY seem to have a fantastic customer concept. lights were 100.00, they gave me a military discount, and they said, even if I wired them up and didn't like them they would return them gladly. they want happy customers, not stuck customers. |

Roxxx, here is a link to the motodynamic flashing integrated LED tail light for sale on ebay, check the link, it has a video. its the best one I have seen. I started out with a circuit board that plugged in to the stock set up...very poorly made by another company. I really like this one! if the link doesn't work just search Buell s! or Buell x1 and scroll till you see the tail light image. they are sold n clear and smoke. my buddy bought the smoke lens and even it is bright! http://www.ebay.com/itm/94-07-Buell-S1-X1-M2-Blast -Integrated-Sequential-Tail-Light-95-96-97-98-99-0 0-/360495565540?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&h ash=item53ef35cae4&vxp=mtr |

I am going to wire in the zepto turn signals today, just need a good place to pull switched dc power from so that I can use the running light function they offer. any good ideas on where to easily pull switched dc power from? I would like to use an accessory powered post so that I can put an eye on the end of the wire and just bolt it to a post instead of splicing into a wire... any thoughts? by the wire, in just hooking them up and function checking them, THEY ARE BRIGHT! |

Wired up the lights today and they are bright!, I wanted to utilize the running lights but didn't have a clean way to get switched DC power easily without splicing into a wire so I decided to wire them up without the running light function today, Ill try again later on the running lights, wanted to get them installed and tested today while I had the day to myself.... I clipped the programming wire and the running lights wire with a clean end then used heat shrink folded over the end then a bigger piece over that to terminate the ends of the two wires.

then I needed to tuck them out of the way and I needed to protect the small programming module that is in line...sl I wrapped the wires over the module and used expandable wire loom to clean it up...

These are VERY bright and look good on the bike, now I just need to run a shakedown test and then next weekend sometime, find an easy place to pull switched dc power for the pulsing running lights...
