I want to buy, rent, borrow, or trade for a tool to remove and replace my front sprocket. The part number is HD-41321. |

Or go buy a brass hinge from the hardware store I've heard that people have used those with success. Apparently it's just the right size |

I thought the brass hinge was for locking the primary? |

D'oh! sorry, i misread that. you might be able to get away with putting the bike in gear and holding the rear brake. when my '03 belt broke i put a socket on a tooth and wedged it against the frame. worked good enough to get the old pulley off. i had a new '04+ belt and pulleys to install |

If you have a belt on the bike, run a 2x4 through the wheel above the swingarm, then gently turn the wheel til the board locks everything in place. Then you can get that pulley off. Reverse the "procedure" when you go to snug it back down. Reverse thread on that nut. |
