09 1125cr for sale in Tampa Florida. It has 6350 miles. There are 3 modifications done to the bike to enhance overall performance and longevity. For any Buell enthusiast, the one issue with this model and year is the inadequate cooling of the stator which leads to component failure. There was one factory recall implementing a harness, but the true fix is cooling the unit. I have replaced the factory rotor with an Erik Buell Racing rotor with the proper jet(s) to allow oil to cool the stator. The other correction was having the stator itself rebuilt to higher temperature spec. The combination of these two elements are key when trying to alleviate that issue. The third modification was to the muffler itself. Many owners replace the exhaust entirely, but I admire the lines of the factory exhaust with the design of the bike. To make the bike sound as mean as it looks, I had a custom shop open the muffler and modify the second and third chambers. This allowed more prominent airflow and decibal increase while maintaining the backpressure for the factory mapping and ignition.
