my throttle idle adjustment cable is not attached to anything, found it on the floor of the garage, not sure where it goes on the bike. Has a screw/bolt with a spring on it on one end, guessing there was a nut and or washer that fell off but not sure where it attaches to... help! |

it goes just under the throttle cables on the throttle body, if you have a bit of patience you can fit it back in with out the need of taking the TB off. |

TPS should be ok unless it wasn't running right before hand. If you do a tps reset, do it with a hot engine. |

Well, you may be right but after screwing it back in to a random setting I don't know what it did to my idle settings, so I did a TPS reset using ECM spy just in case, set 1050-1150 at 160 deg C and it is smooth as butter on a quick 10 mile ride. My wife helped me get the adjustment cable installed again, I was not sure where it went and it was a pain to get it and my hands were just too big to fit in there. Thanks guys for your help! |
