Hello I am brand new to forums and do not know much about mechanics. Let me see if i can start from the beginning...
My 2002 Buell Blast P3 had been sitting for about 5 months, I emptied out all of the gas, replaced it with fresh gas and then tried to start it. For a while i would have to jump the bike with my car to get it started, then i took the battery to be charged and then it would pretty much start on it's own, i would only have to jump it if i let it sit for more than a couple of days. i was just letting it idle for a while and reving it and i head a very loud popping noise come from near the air filter and then some white smoke came out. i didn't think much of it because it kept running at the time but when i went out to start it today it would not start at all not even with a jump but it is cranking strong. that is about all that i can remember, i am assuming the that trouble that i am having is caused by whatever popped and i have included pictures of it. any and all information will be extremely appreciated. thank you
