Buell Dealers. When they were up and running? Just curious if anyone knows...... I've always wondered. |

They peaked around when I bought my X1 in 2001 I think. There were actual Buell dealers and idiots that sold Buells. After a while, they culled most of the idiots so that only people that could read a service manual and use a torque wrench could be classified as a dealership of Buells. |

yeah idiots who sold Buells. I remember seeing sale person not really knowing Buell and talking to a customer while standing next to one. I would go over and help out. Dig out an old Brag road atlas all the Buell dealers are listed in the back! |

The guys at Trev Deeley House of Buell were awesome here in Vancouver. The Sales Manager (Stuart) is now the sales manager for HD there...guess they knew a good guy when they saw one! Lots of their staff still ride Buells and they put on an annual Buell day ride which I sadly missed last year. Glacier HD in Montana were pretty rude to me last summer...so props to one, the bird to the other!!!! |

At one time, probably about when the change over from the tubers to the XB's happened, easily 1/2 of the H-D dealers were Buell dealers by the end maybe a 1/4. |

ok, fine, we'll give more opinions... High Point HD/Greensboro HD (sister dealerships) weren't good I bought from a dealership in Wilkesboro and they were great, lots of the staff rode etc. When I went to HP HD for example they didn't know what they heck they were talking about, never mind the fact they wanted 2500 more for the same bike! The times I visited Rossmeyer in Florida - that was a great dealership! |

Very funny. Thanks. It's 10 degrees here, with 2 feet of snow on the ground. If this doesn't melt soon and warm up... I'm killing someone! I need to ride! Global warming my ass! Have a great day |

Cool Onebadx1, now we can hijack your thread more and bitch about the lack of global warming!! I wont rub it in that our riders club had our first ride on sunday, and i deffenately wont tell you that it was sunny and about 40deg, And in southeast Alaska of all places, go figure. If its snowing Al Gore must be near. KCCO Get geard up and sit on your bike making VROOOOOOM sounds, then get drunk. |
