Finally got back on the X1 today after a long hibernation. Weather finally warmed up enough up here in north jersey. Here are just a couple pics with the modifications i did over the winter. Along with the maintenance items i took care of, i made a custom gauge plate out of stainless so i could lay the gauges down and get rid of the fly screen, painted the headlight trim ring and subframe gloss black, new grips, new levers, painted the calipers, and a couple other things im sure im forgetting. not the best angles but it will do for now. enjoy! I broke my '97 S3 out of winter storage today. Put the new registration sticker on, turned on the gas, a few twists of the pumper carb and it fired right up. I forgot what a badass bike it was, I rode my 34 horsepower KLR 650 to work today, what a difference! |
