Ok i know this has been gone over many times! What do i need to convert my 96 S1 to XB rockers and is it worth it I have a devonator on It know so i do not see oil ever |

its very worth it!! I did it to mine after chasing multiple oil leaks, I must have pulled the top cover off three or four times before figuring out that it was the old style gaskets one layer down that were causing the leak. I did the XB style conversion and not a single leak, plus the bike runs better and revs a little "differently"....I put in a catch can as well. one of the best mods I did to the bike..I bought the full kit from Al at American Sport Bike, worth every penny. and I bought a rocker box wrench from amazon for about 30.00 if I remember correctly. yeah you can cut down an allen-key, but I figured with three tube frame Buells I was going to be in there again anyway so I opted for the wrench. |

I run the full kit from American Sport Bike, lost the catch can and replaced with a tiny little crank case vent filter. Can't go wrong with the American Sport Bike kit! |
