Just finished my rocker boxes on my 2000 S3 and while I'm waiting for my new secondary belt, I thought that I would do the wheel bearings. Heard the harley ones were sub par? Whats the latest and greatest?

Check With AL At American Sport Bike
they have the better bearings

Why don't you just pop the seals and grease them? You will only not be able to reach one of the bearings and if the other five look good the hidden one is probably alright as well. I do this every time I put on a new tire, so annually or biannually in my case.
