Have an 06 Ulysses and just put in 07 progressive fork springs. Is the setup the same as 06 specs or do I use 07 specs to set up sag and all that? Thanx Forest |

Use 2007 specs for everything fork related now. |

Where did you get the springs and how much did they cost. I really think I need to do this mod. Thanks Jeff |

Have been reading about the progressive 07 springs and I'm thinking of upgrading my stock 06 front springs to hyperpro progressive spring, I think it dives way too much now when braking for a hairpin which upsets the balance. Curious about your (positive?) experience for this upgrade... |

"I think it dives way too much now when braking for a hairpin which upsets the balance." Yes it will. I added 10ml of heavy oil per fork on the 06 bike, 5ml of heavy oil per fork on the 10 bike and this sorted the dive problem. The bikes suspension set up must be right in the first place and then you MUST "back off" the compression setting by about one full turn to start with. Worked great for me both times. Its easy and cheap and if you do not like it you can then do the springs. Its the best 15 bucks you will ever spend on this bike. |
