Yes that is normal, the Race ECM is programmed to display COLD below 0°C instead of 65°C |

There is a long list of changes to the ECM including fan operation, idle control, how the bike behaves with the clutch, redline, and a billion other minor tweaks. The only way to be able to change them is to upgrade to the fully programmable ECM and get the proper software from EBR. Your bike does not have a kickstand switch, you could drive with it down regardless of what the ECM said. The exported models do have a kickstand switch, and it needs to be disconnected for use with the Race ECM, as EBR uses the port for the kickstand to control a quick shifter on race bikes. |

So does mine and on chilly mornings, it still takes forever to warm up. |

My EBR ECM still displays cold as well. Exactly how the stock ECM did, below 170F or whatever. It may depend on which exhaust it's programmed for? |
