This is an essentially new 2009 model 1125r. The bike has never been titled, and the paperwork I have on it is a bill of sale from the race shop. The bike is located at my garage at the track in the D/FW area. I believe the bike was part of the race program, and was probably a parts mule. I purchased the bike missing a battery, exhaust, rider's left pod, mirrors, blinkers lights and passenger pegs and seat. After receiving the bike, I used these existing parts from my own spares to get the bike on the track: * Battery * New Cluster * Used Pod Cover (a crashed spare I had left over) * Stock Exhaust * Used Cowell Cover Current state of the bike is: * 775 Miles * Broken in, due for 2nd oil change soon. (I change often) * Some of the safety wiring in place * Stock wiring harness. I put these modifications into it: * EBR Clip-ons * EBR Top Triple Clamp * EBR Clutch Slave Cyl Kit * Brembo RCS 19 * EBR GP Shift Kit * Ohlins/EBR steering damper * EBR Rigid Peg kit * EBR Race Shock with 575 and 550 springs * Extra set of wheels (diamond blue), Includes 5mm Finned Rotor and improved mounting hardware

I appreciate all of the interest for individual components of the bike, but at this time I'm not looking to part it out. The shipping/payment is just too much hassle to deal with a piece-by-piece thing. Thanks for understanding. |

so I take it you no wont be upgrading the rear to ohlins/penkse? Was keen on the showa rear a few months back when you were deciding whether or not to upgrade. Cheers Scott |

I have the Penske on my 1125r-DSB. I happen to have this Showa as a backup in the drawer when I bought this bike, so I put it on. |

I really don't want to part out. I'm not desperate to sell the machine, but the money would be useful in financing this year's racing habit! I put a decent amount of effort into setting this machine up as a really good track bike. My intention for it was to teach on it this year. My Honda is actually a little better for a teaching bike -- the 1125r isn't keen on going slow! Geometry is set up for a 180 rear tire, and it's very stable on even really bumpy tracks. (Typical in Texas) It's a nice ride. I hate to see it taken apart. I want to see it enjoyed and raced and crashed and repaired and loved. |
