Which packing is the best to use? I've used the vance&hynes ss2r packing, but this packing doesn't hold 3 month's |

You can still get the factory (fiberglass) repack kit from Al at American Sport Bike. I run steel wool in mine. |

I was re-doing the 'glass every couple/few years. Only did the steel wool a year ago, haven't had to re-do it yet. |

Punch the center of the pop rivet out, then carefully drill the head off |

+2 thejosh, and Ratbuell. iv been packing it with steele wool. ended up installing nutplates and bolts for quick easy repacking. |
