It's sad to see her so far out of her beautiful original form. However, this was done very tastefully and looks amazing. Great work! Just my $.02 |

this is nice. I have pieces and parts of an S2. i am thinking of doing a cafe racer like this. I always wondered about the tanks, and if they were wide enough for our frames? REX |

That is the best looking radical custom I have seen. (By "radical" I mean cut and remade frame tubes) I would ride it for sure! |

It's nice and all, but so are many of the other "cafe" style racers out there in motorcycle land. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bagging on it or anything, I just hate to see S's and X's cut up. That's all. |

a friend has a sprtster that looks ver similar to this except it has shock each side & side pipes but tank & seat look same so does front end & headlight. i think it's just an old Brit style might make a Buell leak oil LOL but looks good. i would not have picked it as an X1 as can't see bolt on tail. i think should keep Buells as they are. |

what exactly are some of you guys whining about? there's little or no 'cutting up" here - rather, some new parts: seat oil bag rear fender tank headlite tail lite belt guards speedo me? I think it's a superb take on the classic UK cafe racer |

First The X1 has a distinctive tail that bolts on, there WAS some cut and weld, the seat tank junction is not up to the level of the rest.. it looks like an old brit bike its 8 of 10 |

The only thing I see here that I would like to see is the aluminum tail. I think it would go well with the other aluminum work. |

That's what I would have liked to see on a stock Buell: artisan-quality tube frame, alloy or carbon fiber instead of plastic and fiberglass. |

Interesting that he has an original version WileyCo exhaust. My guess is the front mount will fail very soon, speaking from experience. |

That is a very nice looking bike. It may look like a custom Harley XR, but really, that bike is all XB with a cradle frame, and some doo dads anded on. |

Mbsween when mine broke (about 8 year ago) I contacted the factory and they sent me a brand new updated system for the cost of shipping. At this point the canister is junk, but the elbow was worth every penny. |

Koz Tried that in 2010, I gave up after 3 or 4 calls had a friend weld the elbow last year. Haven't got around to repacking the canister (I have titanium and stainless). You ever perform that task? Sorry for the Hijack Merry Christmas |

I like those Norman Hyde M bars. I wonder if they would interfere with a Manta tank? |
