Gentleman,
I am going to be selling my xbrr soon. Do any of you know a collector enthusiast in the market. Also where would be the ideal place to place it for sale.
As rare as these bikes are is there any appreciation in value being seen and what is a fair price?

Only ever saw or heard of where about 10 of them went. One of mine is new and never been started but wouldn't surprise me if there was 25 more in the same condition. Talked to lots of people that would like to have one' but none that was willing to spend what it's probably really worth just to look at. As you probably already know it's not a cheap ride for local track days or races. Put my used one on E-Bay once just for HaHas and bidding went to $21100.00 (no sale) Have seen one on Ebay starting at $9000.00 and no one bid. If you can stand to keep it for 10 more years it will probably be harder to find than a VINCENT. AMA museum didn't have one last I talked to them and was interested in mine but I never called. Not sure if they were buying or looking for a donation.

Others that own one might feel different, but I personally wouldn't sell my used one (new condition) for a penny less than it cost new. Wouldn't part with the new one for under $50,000. Some of the bikes in my garage have been there for 40+ years and I don't care if they sell or not. Once the RR's end up in the hands of collectors (which I think most might be by now) it might be just about impossible to find one for sale. Talked to Erik in Daytona a few years ago and he agreed it will probably be very hard to find one in a few years.
