My neutral light was working good now it stays on all the time. Looks like you have to remove drive pulley just to gat at the switch, is this right ?? |

First step for me, after getting access, before removing the drive pulley, would be to unplug the wire at the switch, and see if the light stays on. If it does, there is a short somewhere in the switch circuit. If the light goes out, then the switch is bad. I seem to remember other folks here replacing the switch without removing the pulley, but it is really fiddley. Not having done it myself, don't know if the hassle of replacement without taking the pulley off is worth the effort. Hope this helps, Dave |

I got it off without having to pull the drive pulley, you just need a 1/4 inch drive 9/16 socket at least a 6" extension and take the belt off, takes a little finess, but have done it twice and it worked. (Message edited by thejosh on December 07, 2012) |
