I'm in Florida and my service manual is at home in Pa. I'm bringing my Uly to a private shop in the morning for the installation of a new rear tire and front wheel bearings. Can someone give me the proper torque specs for all the fasteners to complete this job? I've used this guy before, I trust his work but I want to make sure everything is within spec upon completion. Please no guesses, hard data please! ...and thank you. |

It's like 3 double sided pages in the 2007 Uly manual. The tire is easy, I'll give torque for that, but the bearing process is involved. Front axle 39-41 ft-lbs (53-56 Nm) Front axle pinch fasteners 20-22 ft-lbs (27-30 Nm) (Source: 2007 Uly Factory Service manual) (Message edited by reepicheep on February 26, 2013) |

Not a lot of help I know, but if you want to pay it forward, kick in some change to help Cory West race at Daytona. Kick in $50 or more and tell me by 8:45 EDT and I'll scan the bearing pages and email them to the email of your choice. |
