Ferris, E-mail me with your address please. I got some pictures of SPLASH back today and would like to send you a few. Kim, I have a few for you too! I will deliver them next weekend out at the track. Deb, I have some for you too. Will you be at the track next weekend? If not let me know so that I can send them to you along with the clothes you let me borrow. Thanks! Shotgun, Will you be able to make it out to PIR next weekend? I have a special something I picked up for you in Fresno. If not when is the next meeting? Loni |

So, Bob, are you allowed to ride your Triumphs to Sturgis or do you ride bitsh on Debbie's bagger? |

the trick on the way to Sturgis is to ride about 25 feet directly BEHIND Debbie, as the cooling mist from all the ice melting in the cooler in the trailer she's pulling is most refreshing. Loni, thanks, looking forward to seeing them. BNuts: what Ferris said! |

So I thought I would up date you all on Chris and his racing adventure yesterday at the 5th Annual West Coast YSR Invitational. He raced in 2 classes the Stock Thunder Class he won 2nd place and the Mod 50 Vets he won 4th. Now he has another trophy on the fireplace! As for the new toy he has in the garage now...Last Thurs he bought a new KTM 625SMC. He calls it his Urban Assult Vehicle! Guess I should get out and get some yard work done. Tomorrow it's back to work for both of us. Sure would like to retire! Loni |

Destination Tigard is now "Paradise Harley-Buell". But they have 3 times as much Buell stuff as before. Mostly shirts, tee shirts, jackets, sweat shirts, vests, etc. |

Thanks SO SO much for the DVD FunJimmy. Just got done watching it. So for next year we have to work on getting a camera, GPS so we can show speeds on the video, and some sound. If we start getting ready for it now we should have it all sorted out before time. As for the Hooligan bike, it is not sounding to good the last time I rode it. Think this time I am going to just take it to Paradise and have them evaluate the bike. Would hate to do it, but might just off it and buy what I really like, which is the new city X, or at least the XB12s. That will be a while though I am sure as I still have to pay for the new blast addition. |

Shotgun, Is this going to effect the club any? We should meet over there before the meeting this month. Is Andy still there? Finally went and bought myself a new First Gear Mesh Jacket. $99.98 at Action Sports in Oregon City. Got to go for a ride now and break it in. Looking for some mesh pants so if anyone knows where to find them on sale let me know! Deb, Thanks for the info last night. Have great trip and be careful out there! Bob, that goes for you too! Loni PS Anyone else going out to PIR this weekend to see Cody race? We may have to work Sat but plan on riding Sun for sure |

Loni, I'll get over to smooze the new owners some time this week. No personnel changes that I am aware of at Paradise. I did say "so long" to Ed Jr. He says the sale was not his idea at all but Ed Sr's. Think Triumph. Spent $1500 on repairs on my M3 or Speed Triple last week, then took it home and took the carbs apart again and dropped the needles in all 3 back down to the bottom clip. The bike is a monster from 5000 to 9700 RPM! The Triumph guy thinks the bike was probably used in the Challenge America series back in 96 as it has safety wire holes everywhere and a hot set of cams. Gonna spend another $45 bucks this week to get a good dyno with A/F to see if I want to tune the carbs anymore. Triumph parts are expensive. 3 coils = >$400. But I also got a replacement gas tank with no dents, a new (used) front wheel, carbs balanced, new seals and fork oil, etc. Bike is happy. |

Loni: Think Triumph! And First Gear too. Both Triumph and FG make really nice mesh pants. As for being on sale, check out a couple of these Web Sites: http://www.newenough.com/ http://www.intersportfashions.com/products_specials.htm http://www.motorcyclecloseouts.com/ At worst, the pants only cost about $125 - $140 and you've got a steady job. Ray, Thanks! I will take a look at those sites when I have some time. Funny picture! Shotgun, Smoooooze em up real good. I have us down for our monthly ride on the 15th and meeting the 17th, is this correct? Where we going to go for the ride? Who all is going to make it? I am thinking maybe the road to Detroit Lake, or up the Gorge somewhere. Just as long as we don't have to cross any bridges with steel grating! Loni |

Well I think I put a pretty good dint in the Buell clothing stock at Tigard when I was there. And I did mention how disapointed I was coming 10,000 miles and see just one rack. Good thing i spose, now they have more room for more new stuff. Paradise, seems an odd name for a cold and mostly wet place. And they got no banana trees or palms. Who's idea was that? lol MadGaz |

Blowing the muffler plum offt is just sumthin ya gotta deal with, Hell it ain't uncommon fer one ta land over in the next county!!. Just wait, some day there L come a day when a day comes that you'll be a ridin and on that very day you maybe struck by a lone rouque Muffler one day. ( It'll be from a High Powered Triumph) Trust me on this Cuz. Think Triumph

Still here lurking in the shadows. Waiting for parts and polishing - aftermath of the strafing of the roads at SPLASH. Looking very forward to see you all at Border Raid. Lorraine has started making some plans but I guess we need more input to pick the end point on Saturday. We ended up in Pentiction last year and that seemed like a pretty good ride. Any other suggestions? Harv |

I thot we ended in Oosoyuse or some such last year? It was fine. If we hadn't spent so much friggin time trying to jury rig Lo's Blast axel it would have been even better. You name it though, and we'll be there. |
