First let me say I am new to the site and thrilled I found it. It is so sick to find a site so dedicated to Buells. I am a new Buell devotee and am really excited to be planning another project. I currently have a lightly modded 2003 XB9 Lightening as my daily driver. I just bought a 2000 M2, and want to really do something crazy with it. I want to strip it down and fab a tank and cafe style wasp end out of steel, and then would really like to find a Girder front endalmost Britten in style then , . Even if its just a starting place used as a pattern. ANy direction and help would be greatly appreciated!!

I also have a 1977 KZ1000 Cafe Style Project in the works and really love taking unusual ideas and combining them. For the KZ I am looking for a turbo if anyone might have a line on one.

The Kawasaki is a 1977 KZ1000 LTD. Right now the frame is stripped down and detabbed. Rebuilding the motor and making decisions for the seat pan and tail section. And yes it will be a cafe style.

For the M2 I hope to make something new, certainly not a cafe, just stripped and naked with a unique front end.

I think that could be a cool looking bike if done with care.
