Guys, anyone can give me some advice? I put a new motor on the pump of the old X1 and want to reinstall. The gaskets are old and I need to replace. Anyone recommend a solution? Thanks!

Was the original pump wire (the current yellow one) soldered, or does it use that same type of connector? Seems like there's a chance it might spark on you. Sorry I can't help you with the o-ring/gasket question. |

Inside is a neoprene washer 5/8" ID x 1"OD x 3/32" thick, outside is a metal washer with a embedded O-ring I don't really know what its called, maybe a sealwasher. Fuel outlet is a 3/8" x 7/8" neoprene washer on the inside and a R-09 O-ring out side. All should be available at better auto parts store. http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Buell-X1-M2- S3/X1-Fuel-pump-sudden-death-Please-help-with-diag nostics Jeff, the yellow wire is for the low fuel light. |
