I know that any of these bikes can benifit from a tune first off. Just wanted to know if I'm still in the safe zone? The filter should be coming in next week. Thanks

Been reading, think I answered my question. Should be good to go. The ecm might need some time to relearn.

I ran the exact same w stock ECM for a while & it was OK. I liked it much more after I ponied up for the race ECM. If memory serves I believe that E.B.R. recommended that I go w a Drummer (non SS) map & it worked great w no hickups. Please don't depend on my memory though & if you go with a race ECM just ask them what they recommend. The Hawk w a K&N & a race ECM was a nice matching set ... no complaints at all.

why didnt you send your ecm to randy when you sent your hawk to get it reflashed? I am hoping to do this mod soon.

I bought a 2006 uly that I kept for about 2 months and it had the hawk muffler on it. Then I ran across a 2008 for a good deal and bought it too. Swapped the hawk exhaust to the 2008.

I talked to Randy the owner of Hawk Performance and he said he cannot tune a 2008 or newer.

There were a lot of changes in '08 - fuel injection and timing systems are different starting in '08, along with other things.
