Yeah, so when I parted out my 07 I sold the orange plastic front part (what's that called anyway?) because who needs two of those, right? I do. When I bought the 08, the owner had mounted a tall windscreen which is nice in the winter but in the summer I found I prefer the original flyscreen. So I switched it back but man, putting those rubber grommets back in is a serious pain in the nether region. I thought, boy, if I wasn't such an idiot, I would have kept that part from the other bike and then I could just swap the whole assembly. So, anyone have an extra laying about or a source? Basically it is called the fly screen, the windshield is just that. If the grommets give you gas, put them in some hot water for a couple of minutes, then give them a little dish soap to lube for the installation. No. You cannot have mine.  They are being used. | ||

I have 3 2 black ones and the Valencia orange i'm currently using. By the way there is a Guy in the UK that made me a orange translucent tall wind shield, i'm sure he can make any color needed, the work is great and the holes are perfectly drilled. | ||

If you're talking about the windshield mounts in the wind screen, I converted the ones on my old Uly to well nuts. They stay in the screen and you can bolt on a different shield without ever having to pull the screen. Have the conversion pix stored away on disk, but there are some references buried away on the site. | ||
