Is there a safe way to boost compression? I live at 7000 ft. And would like to get more air in. I will prob not go below 5000 ft. Elevation. |

You could always shave the heads, but then you'll need to run higher octane to head off detonation. That's about all you can do with normal aspiration (I think). Ride faster, so you get more ram-air

yes, but doing that will retard the valvetrain timing. adjustable cam gears are available. i've heard to not remove more than ten thousands from the head and five thousands from the jug. |

The 1125 DSB build is basically a 14:1 compression motor. You could try Michael T at: tech@ebracing.com for the amounts they typically mill when building those motors. Reset cam timing is usually part of the equation.... |
