When I think of a BMW I think of a 45-50 year old corporate desk jockey riding some stupid generic looking BMW all stiff backed and awkward. Funny, that's what I think of when I think of Harley. The BMW riders I've known are the ones waving back in the middle of winter, putting 20-30k miles/yr on their bikes, and riding the wheels off the motorcycles. Many of the ones I used to hang out with had, literally, toured the country on their bikes. It's *weird* to find a BMW up for sale with under 10k miles/yr on it. |

It just got colder here in Indiana, I've only seen one sport bike on the road: mine. I haven't seen a single BMW rider besides the guy who works at the motorcycle gear shop here either. I have however seen tons of Harleys on the road everywhere I go. I work for a huge pharmaceutical corporation and it's funny because all the corporate desk jockeys and engineers ride their butt ugly BMWs. All the blue collar guys who work the plants and get stuff done ride Harleys. |

I live in Wisconsin, 20 miles southwest of Green Bay. I own a Buell XB12SS and a BMW R1200ST. I have been riding my butt ugly BMW to work the last two weeks, with morning temps down as low as the 30's and will ride down as low as the upper 20's. Don't lump all BMW riders together in one bunch. And remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder. |

" Don't lump all BMW riders together in one bunch" funny, cause this is exactly what 99% of the people on here do with HD riders. |

You don't hear me putting down anyone elses ride! If you ride that's what counts, but don't put down my choice of motorcycles. |
