Well i took my 1125r to the drag strip, and ran 10.970 on about every pass. It seems when i made 2 passes in a row I was speed shifting because the clutch wouldnt do any good after 3 gear? Fluid, plates, basket..any idea? Thanks |

The gears do get pretty close together after 3rd especially when you're flat out wide open throttle. Steels are very thin...I've screwed a set, frictions were fine though. |

I starting to think my shifter linkage is binding, because my TCX boot may be to tight on the shifter and is not allowing it to release down all the way. I will know after adjustment. |

Foot shifting can get messy at times. I know in my case , I would get so caught up in the pass I would often forget to RELEASE the shifter. Everything on the pass is pushing your body rearward , so unloading the toe peg has to be a conscious move after the shift even though forces are trying to keep your toes up and under the peg. Although it very well could be boot/toe peg adjustment you need - if I were you I would get "releasing" the toe after each shift to where it becomes second nature. Anyway , if you are new to brackets , it sounds like you are off to a good start :-) the CONSISTENT Turtle gets the win light over the hare....... |
