The Blast is dead! I just received this month's Rider magazine and the inside cover has a Buell add showing a Blast that has been crushed into a cube and introduced as the 2010 Blast. The ad says that racing and sport bikes will be the only things made by Buell | ||

It's almost time!!!  Thought we should start getting our meeting and route together. Gene mentioned meeting at 8 am Friday at Waffle House on 18 (right off of 71), getting some breakfast and shipping out. Does that work for everyone? Any route suggestions? Gene- you always seem to find some awsome routes. I'll have Steve check out the mad map tonight for a good route too. I have some new tires I need to break in, what perfect timing!  | ||

Waffles... Actually their omelettes are great too. Try this route on: 3 South to Wooster 83 South to Coshocton 36 East to Newcomerstown 258 East to 342 East to 800 South 800 to 148 E to 26 South (Look at that road!) A second awesome route would be straight to Salem. Take 9 South to 148 West to 26. Need to fine-tune the end to Cairo. Let's see what mad maps can do, then compare at breakfast. | ||

If it's OK, I'd like to join you guys at the Waffle House tomorrow for the ride down to WV(at least part way). I won't be able to attend the Rally, but do have Friday open for a ride. Btw, just a heads up. Rt. 342 is closed from Rt. 258 to Freeport(at Rt. 800). I was in the area last weekend and there is a bridge being rebuilt on 342 just west of Freeport. I have some options(around 342) I can point out tomorrow at breakfast. | ||

Awsome ! The more the merrier!  Thanks for the heads up, we'll all bring some routes to the (breakfast)table and we'll make a final decision then. I have a feeling whatever the route is, it's gonna rock! I'm getting all giddy! | ||

No Bras Rules! Grate riding with all of you, over 836 miles! I'm riding to work tomorrow. How about you? We should do lunch at the Harley Diner at Southeast to see if they have any deals on Buell stuff. Can anyone get a long enough lunch during the week? | ||

Steve, the pleasure was mine. You guys & gal(Lauren) are a very nice group. It was fun meeting & riding with y'all. I too, wish I could have gone to WV. I'll have to make this rally a priority next year. As it was, by the time I got home Friday evening, I had accumulated 407 miles for the day. And, believe it or not, there's still a good day ride or two left on the Roadsmarts. Gene, I could "do lunch" on Wednesday or Thursday at Southeast. Let me know, Dave | ||

Here you go Steve, We took: -226 south out of Wooster to 514 -514 south out of Shreve to 520 -520 east through Glenmont to 62 -62 east(just 1/2 mile or so) to 60 -60 south through Warsaw to Dresden -208 east out of Dresden to 93 -93 north to 541 -541 through Kimbolton toward I-77 -cross I-77 on 541 to 35(1st stop sign) -turn left(north) on 35 to 258 -turn right(east) on 258 to 800 -turn right(south) on 800 to Woodsfield -take 78 east out of Woodsfield to 536 -OPTION: get snack in Woodsfield for a stop at Kiedaisch Point Park on 536 -turn right(south)on 536 to 7 -from 7 you can go north to 556, or south to 255 or 800 at Fly(where you took the ferry) Hope this helps. Yes. And I believe the same has happened at Lake Erie.  A search on the Buell site for dealers lists Western Reserve and Hale's as the closest Buell dealers for me now. | ||

I spoke to the Owner of Lake Erie Harley this weekend. They are not dropping Buell. I discussed starting a Buell club at the dealership and he was very enthusiastic about the idea. Please let me know if you would be interested. I think this would be a great way to get the dealership more involved in promoting Buell. |
