So i just bought new front and rear tires and had them mounted. The rear tire install went fine but the front I had an Issue. When I torqued down the front axle there is gap between the bearing face and the fork .06"-.09" . Now I know you don't want to over tighten the axle but I feel like I should seat the bearings all the way up to the face of the fork tubes. Has anyone run into this? Should that front wheel have float side to side? |

Did you by chance not have your pinch bolts lose enough? I would loosen everything and follow the manual step by step and re-torque everything. No problem's here..just got the rotor dirty from all the axle grease..nightmare in its self lol. |

I figured it out. I couldn't see it in the dark with the anti-seize on the bearing face but there is a shoulder that butts up to the bearing face. When you look at it after tightening it though it looks like there is a gap though. Thanks anyways guys! -Tim |
