My new HG leather jacket is great but it only has a plain liner not a mesh one. In hot weather sweat stays on the skin or soaks into my shirt. Not a good design for leathers. I could not find a mesh liner so tried this.
This is Craft of Swedens "cool" first base layer and made for cyclists. It has two mesh levels. The main one is under the arm and runs into/up the back in an inverted tee shape. It is long in arms/body, thin, with "flat lock" seems and very comfy. Man this shirt works GREAT. Just sitting still, over a cotton shirt, makes you feel cold. Amazing/clever fiber techno stuff. |

Looks like high end stuff. A little pricey but if it works probably worth it. |

Craft is VERY TOP END stuff, not cheap but "more-or-less" the best you can buy. Saying that though it was 25GBP and the same thing from HG was 44GBP so that was good. The problem of a good balance of body temps is unique on a motorcycle. What this sort of clever kit does is regulate your core body temp by "wicking" away sweat from the skin and leaving a layer of air which can then be controlled. Core body temp control is the key to the problem. Once this is done you can add other layers for warmth and still have control. (Message edited by Uly_man on July 06, 2012) |
