Saw a set I might buy, if they will work in my bike. |

The 09-10 injectors are an improved design. some of the Badwebers with 08'ss have switched over. |

I thought it was disproved that the '09+ injectors offered any real-world benefit over the '08s. |

The update injectors may fix part throttle fueling issues, but they suck big time at high rpm... Both types flow about the same - 430 and 440cc/min the 2 pairs I had tested - that's at 45psi,not the 59 and 69psi 1125s pump at. IMO don't bother But if you do want to I've got a pair lol |

I thought it was the atomization pattern that was improved, not the flow volume? |

"I thought it was disproved that the '09+ injectors offered any real-world benefit over the '08s." Fleshy - do you remember where the link is, or where you got that info? EBR was selling the 'improved' injectors for a while, but it now appears that they are no longer in the on-line catalogue...

yes they changed the spray pattern...from the original 4 hole rectangular pattern to a "V" shape 10cc between pairs will be natural variation. |

Afraid I don't remember where I saw that about the '08s not being any better than the '09s. I just vaguely remember reading it in a thread here. |

Having dyno'd with both I can tell you that the later injectors cost 5hp at peak. To get any gains-anywhere- from the new injector took a little time...we gained a couple of ft/lb in the midrange. As a direct swap I would doubt whether there would be any improvement at all.Only losses. At the end of the day the best "fix" for 1125s is more fuel. So spend your money on a better ecm or tuning software. |
