Did the Check Engine light come on? Are there any error codes stored? |

No check engine light and no codes. The tps I installed was for an early ford mustang with part# I got off this forum a few months ago. |

I'm guessing you have access to ECMSpy. Hook that back up, and confirm proper TPS operation; i.e. does the voltage go from approx zero at closed throttle to approx 5V at open throttle. If so, then it is time to look at the throttle body. Does the throttle plate open fully? Are the cables installed correctly? Is something blocking airflow? If it ran before, then something is possibly not where/as it should be. Hope this helps, Dave |

Being that you tampered with the TPS, you may need to reset the 0 position again. Since the bike runs, start it up, let it warm up till the fan comes on, and perform a TPS reset. After that, go for a ride, and perform the TPS reset again. |
