They had an option ti have you send in your engine and they would mod it for more power. This included head work, valves etc etc. Did they or anyone ever post where to get the parts for just the engine mods? I seem to recall a 175hp at the wheel version. Thanks! |

You may be thinking of the DSB build. Basically, increase compression, replace pistons, rods, adjust cam timing, and some other stuff, depending on year model. Contact Michael Richter (at EBR) for details. A couple of folks on here have had it done, if you want more details. |

The 175 hp one was a 1125 RR.

Yep - the DSB build is going to be more in the range of 145-155 at the wheel. |

Yes it will the DSB spec is an AMA rules engine. Same internals but 'with careful attention during asssembly' I took that as basically meaning the engine is assembled to the prints with much narrower tolerances than an actual factory engine. |

For DSB build, better budget about $2500-3000, depending on year model. Mine (2008) included water pump cover and 5th gear upgrades. Shipping's going to run around $225 each way. You can get your take-offs back and could conceivably sell them to offset cost a bit, but you're still into some coin. |

Figured that, o well. I will have to settle for what I got till EBR hurries up and puts out a production bike with 150-175 at the wheel, lol. |

Speaking of a production bike with 150-175 at the rear.... any news on a new bike in the near future? |
