While at the local Menards today, I was approached by "motorbike" (Al) in the parking lot. I was really nice not have to explain what a "Buell" is. Most of the people who comment on my bike can't even pronounce the word. I recently had a guy ask me if it was an Italian bike? I just pointed to the "Buell AMERICAN MOTORCYCLES" on the tank.. and crossed my eyes! Anyway... I'm always so surprised when I meet a fellow Bueller and the knowledge we have have of our bikes. It's kind of a weird brotherhood we belong to. I'm glad I ran into you Al! Look me up in the "Old School" section here or the "Storm Fronts" section. A few of us usually get together in the summer for food and riding. |

Steve, It was real nice to meet you as well. I have seen your X1 around Rochester several times but until today, never had the opportunity to meet the rider. Your bike looks great! Man that thing has a lot of nice looking mods done to it. (Guys, take a look at his profile pic!) I know what you mean about the Buell brand. Most people say "A what? Never heard of that. Are they made in Europe?" I'm hoping you, me, Pat and a few others can get in at least one group ride this summer. Food and riding? It don't get much better than that! Take care, Al |
