Hi Everyone: i have a consistent problem I need help with. First, bike info: 2006 lightning long 1200 stock motor Custom Exhaust Custom fuel maps 10,000 miles. Generally, when the bike just gets fully warmed up, and I hit the highway, I get a bad hesitation when rolling the throttle on . It happens always around 4100 rpm. Feels like 1 cylinder is cutting out. And, the check engine light flashes, but never leaves a code. I happened to be fuel-logging and caught the problem with ECM Spy, and have the log saved. After reviewing the log, it appears that when the problem starts, the TPS voltage drop way down. If the tps is going low, I would assume this could lean out the fuel system enough to cause a skip? ( new plugs and wires- same problem) Could someone please check the log file and see if you agree? Bad TPS? (the file exceeded the forum upload size, so I could send it via email) The problem shows around the 540 second area of the log. The throttle was held steady during this period.
