My issue is that the threads broke off of the stud and vice grips seem to be ineffective in getting it to budge. they just rip at the metal. I have been using penetrating oil to try and get them to budge and it still doesn't work. any help or suggestions is appreciated |

They are red loctite held so heat should help. You may also need to drill them out and maybe even a thread insert to repair the whole thing. |

stud extractor from harbor freight did the trick, the stud is not stuck in the extractor though. |
