Hooters'll do fine, it ain't loud or nuthin'. Why are you guys so dead set on Hooters and so closed minded to any other meeting places??? Is it the plastic 'giggly things' that you are all looking forward to 'seeing'? I thought this meeting was about the biker enthusiast day so it shouldn't matter where it's held. Since you guys are going to the Vortex afterwards it eliminates the need to meet somewhere for food. So what gives??? To be honest I have NO interest what so ever in going there and in my conversations with others I'm not the only one who doesn't care for that idea. But I'll let those who have voiced such an opinion speak it for themselves. I would hope that if even one member of our group voiced such an objection it would be respected. Don't take my login too literally, I may be along4theride but there are some places I just don't care to go. This Biker Enthusiast day we are putting together is a big deal. We are putting the dealerships name out there as well as that of Buell. I'm sure you all have attended meetings with work that weren't something that could have been conducted over 'lunch'. This is a business thing we just got ourselves into. Something that is going to take a lot of planning and organization and volunteers. We have so much stuff that is thrown out there right now a band, a balloon, GSB, Riders Edge, Vendors and who knows what other ideas will get brought up. This is a lot to discuss and the type of conversations that need to be had can't be had 'while you eat'. Rather you can have them, 'while you eat' they just won't be as productive. I would like to meet at SMHD in the breakroom, if possible- Then if you guys want to go to Hooters or the Vortex you can. But we've sat down hashed it all out and have a plan before 'playtime'. It really hurts my feelings that you didn't read my post to the end, you would have seen I did exactly that. I haven't seen any 'un-named other's' around these parts since this conversation started earlier Today. And if I was an un-named 'other' I don't think I would want to show my face at this point. The internet is a crazy thing and typed words don't express themselves like saying them in person. But if were going to the Vortex why are we meeting at Hooters? The food isn't that great, highly over rated. If we going to look at boobies I say we go to the Cheetah!! I have friends that work there and their food is good!!! Philly cheese steak is #1, choice of mine. Some of the girls at hooters are really flat chested!! I make them jealous!!! Cheetah girls best boob jobs in town!! I threw out mellow mushroom!!!! THE VORTEX if we get their before 7.00 we can get a table or two!! Another thing (I'm taking the Sport bike - Buell appreciation night serious!!! I'm bring a list of (things to do and need to be done would like for everyone to take part is something)Also the charity ride for Abused children how will they benefit for the money we raise, if the parents don’t get help the children won't benefit children are for the most part helpless!!! I would like to see money go to the children's hospital or for the terminally ill of Make a wish foundation!!!!!! I said this also at the last meeting but no response. I can ride Sunday if anyone wants to come along not sure if I can go to the Mountains if so just the big loop and back to the house Blacksunshine, Newxb12r and I did the loop or 60 north up pass Suches and back down to the BP then 180 to 129 then back up 180 then 60 south in about 3and 1/2 Hrs then one more to the house or we can ride local back roads witch would be great next weekend I'd like to ride both days in the mountains(going to ride both days like Gator and I did that two weeks ago a buddy crazy Ron and Joey will come along I hope!!! Suit up and lets ride fast and safe!! It always sux when sickness falls on us. I got my new tires today but I have one small problem. I dont have any means to put my bike in the air and remove both wheels safely. Will the jack that sears makes with some straps work? or would I be better off with front and rear wheel stands? I want to get the wheels off sat. night or maybe sun. night so I get get the new tires on monday. Any advice is helpful. Torqer, how much is it to remove wheels, mount and balance both tires? I probably cannot afford to do that but I will ask anyway. Glitch, If you want to ride next week I am game, this is my last week with Tuesday off and I have a doctors visit at 1:00, should not take long. Any other day after 6:30pm is ok too.
