I'm considering selling this bike. I love it, but it's a little small for me and maybe a little too fast... I've only had it a few months, I bought it from the previous owner with a handful of problems that he didn't seem to want to fix. It had a Force exhaust, and at some point the header broke and the muffler fell off and was lost. Not long after it started running rough and he parked it. He told me there was a sticky lifter in the front jug but I doubt that was the case. I fixed a number of things on it. I put a stock header and muffler on with new exhaust gaskets. I determined that the reason it wasn't running right was that the throttle body butterfly shaft was broken, so I replaced the TB with an updated version (smaller screws, less likely to break) and replaced the intake manifold seals at the same time. Since I had the exhaust off and was doing all the work, I went ahead and replaced the lifters for the front jug with new stock parts. At that time I also checked the rocker box gaskets, but they were already the updated metal core version and were leak free so I left them. I also replaced the TPS and O2 sensors. I changed the oil and reset the TPS with ECMSpy. I replaced the rear tire with a Michelin Road 2, replaced the front brake pads with new EBC pads, and replaced the battery with new a MotoBatt sealed AGM unit. The bike now runs great, it starts easily and goes shockingly fast. At some point the original special edition carbon fly screen was cracked in half, so I swapped a black M2 flyscreen that I had laying around. To make the dash fit I also swapped the later M2 dash. I had planned on buying a carbon M2 flyscreen since I prefer that shape, but I'll include the broken X1 flyscreen and the original X1 dash piece (which is fine). I've ridden it less than 500 miles with these new parts and fixes. It's 13 years old so it's not flawless, but it's in pretty great condition for it's age. I've always garaged it and it looks like the POs did also. The bike also has the following upgrades: Millenium Edition footpegs, driver and passenger (it's rare to have both) with the updated folding spring clips Also will include a set of 2" lowering pegs from Knight Design (pictured) since I've got long legs Scratched up Race carbon air cleaner Also will include a polished Forcewinder EFI intake that needs a new filter, and the stock breadbox plastic intake pieces In addition to the stock carbon tank cover, front fender, and rear hugger, also has carbon tank accents. The stock chin spoiler was missing when I got it but it does appear to have the mounting brackets for it. Thanks but I'm hoping to include everything for a lucky buyer. The original owner must have really loved this bike because it came with some nice parts. | ||

Hmmmm..... that looks like Museum District. Maybe Tower Drive? Ive never ridden a tuber, maybe swap and give you my 12R before it goes? Just a thought. I'll try and put a local word out about your bike. Good Luck. | ||

If all the stock parts came with the buell i would buy it. Just impossible to find the carbon pegasus flyscreen and matching carbon chin spoiler. I really like the limited edition buells. |
