Yes, I've searched here and all the other Buell boards. I'm trying to figure out why I cannot get the dang thing to talk to my ECM! '06 Uly. The old ECMSpy recognizes the bike. Whatever I'm doing wrong in ECMSpy for Mono AND ECMRead for Mono is NOT communicating. Yes, I've been to the ECMSpy site as well as the xopside (where I got my cable) site many times. I'm just praying someone can dumb it down for me because I cannot get anything but the old ECMSpy program to talk to the bike... and that program does not let me "Load" or "Save" my EEPROM the option from the "FILE" tab is grayed out (even though I can monitor the bike while it is running). The Mono version doesn't even let me get that far. I know the port is COM3 on my computer. |

Did you pay for the Mono version? The Mono one on the website is only a demo and will not connect to your bike, you need to buy the full version. That said, why are you using the Mono version, the old free one will do pretty much anything you want, and TunerPro will take you even more in depth, for free. |

Thanks for replying Froggy. For what ever reason, the ECMSpy (old version) will let me monitor my ECM but the options in the "FILE" tab are all greyed out and not active. Consequently, I cannot "Load" or "Save" in that tab. I Wanted to just save the stock one as it is before I re-mapped anything. I have TunerPro downloaded so I will see if I can use that to save stock settings in an "EDF" file. |

Go to view and switch from standard to professional. |

Hello, I am new to the forum and I have a 2007 Xb12sTT that is doing similar things as several posts I read. The cell stays on when engine is running and it idles bad and lacks power. No fault codes. Changed battery, checked connections and still the same. I cannot find anyone in Oklahoma City that will work on it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you |

Where do you download the "old" version? I am new so be kind (especially if it is on the ECMSPY website). |
