Is this possible because I'm imagining that I am about as liable to find a used XB12Ss/XB12XT/XB12STT shock as I am to fix the whole "world peace" conundrum?!? I know the issues w/the front forks -either get XB12S/XB12R forks or figure out a way to lower existing fork tubes in the tree. But I was wondering if somehow (how... I cannot imagine now that I have looked into it) I could simply find a Showa spring that would be correct rate and leave the shock body itself alone (except for adjusting settings maybe). |

Be easier to find someone looking for Uly right height and swap out rear shock, forks, and kick stand (if it's different). |

I used the HyperPro spring 1 inch lowering set kit with progressive wound springs. Handling is even better and the Uly sure is easier for me to move around at campsites. I have driven right around North America on a camping trip last summer, no deficiencys, no problems. Bike is real sporty even loaded down with camping gear. |
