Lately, and with increasing frequency, my CEL will come on and the Accessory circuit will power off. (This also drops out the driving lights)I assume this is due to a low voltage condition. When I check the battery at rest it reads 12.5+ volts and on starting the bike the voltage reads 13+ at idle increasing to 14 volts at about 2500 rpm. These seem like good numbers to me. I suspect the cooling fan is about to go out (again) and is drawing too much current. I did have a rocker box leak that I repaired last winter. Any thoughts? |
