Blue would've been my choice, but I haven't gotten a bike in the color I wanted since I was 16. So I guess this is just par for the course. |

I need this bike for major 2-up touring, I don't think a mid-sized bike would do. For strictly solo touring, I wouldn't go bigger than an 800. |

i think this tiger is under rated. it's got tons of power & strong frame too. i have no doubt it would tour two up no problem |

The app is preliminary, as the bank will be closed when I actually can go in. So nothing is set in stone, no worries. The tiger is a fricken awesome bike, we will need to exchange in the future for sure. But it's the suspension I'm worried about. I need to comfortably haul two folks with full luggage. Even the uly sags too much when I'm fully loaded and I can feel the belt pulling tight. |

You'll have to keep me posted on how your tires wear. If they last as long as I've heard, I'll be looking for a later this year. |

I can't make a whole day of it... spring has sprung and I need to get some stuff done around the homestead. But I do need to go to the Pony to get a new front tire. If you can work that in, I'll roll with ya... if not no biggie... I know you will have spent damn near all day there today if you get the new bike and may not want or need to go back for awhile... |

Looks like a nice bike Mike. Yamaha's will last a loooong time. Hate to lose a fellow Buell owner/rider, but I think we understand... Good luck with the new Yami! |

Danger Dave gave that bike a good review. You should be very happy with it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5X6pjuXG8Bc |

A quick update before SLEEP! Success: 1 Mile on her: Home: This thing is WAY more nimble and quick than a bike of it's size should be. I mean, to look at it, and especially to sit on it, it feels mammothly huge. But you can just flic it around like it's nothing. And... well... it's fast. Plenty fast. First gear accidental wheelies fast. 70-100 MPH in no time fast. I've got some getting used to, but it's a sweet bike, no doubt. |

Congratulations. Black looks smart. Is that an Audi TT next to it? It's OK to tell me to mind my own business :-) |

Congrats on the new bike, I bought a S10 in November and it only gets better when it's broken in. 6800 miles and I have no complaints about the bike , it does everything well, twisties , highway and dirt. And black is faster..

Very nice, Mike! I'm sure you will like that Yamaha. A ride report would be great if you have time when you get back from your trip. Please keep us informed on your XT and what you end up doing with it. Thanks. |

quick tire wear update for you... on the scouts i now have 700 miles on them and the little bumps from the tits on the front tire are still visible! the rear hardly shows any wear either. and trust me, i ain't been easy on em! i haven't pushed them in the curves but have gone a pretty spirited pace. they don't handle like knobbies so far, they handle really good! only complaint i have is the slow speed (below 20 mph) wiggle from the front, and the knobby howling noise at around 70 mph also from the front. the rear is no complaints at all... |

700 miles? I've had mine for 5 days, and have 850 miles on it! I'm thinking the k60's will be my tire of choice when these oem bridgestones are gone. Keep me updated! Actually, we just need to go riding again! |

Today's 250 mile ride had some gravel, and some great twisty pavement. Averaged almost 50 mpg!

man that's a sweet lookin bike. and that's 700 miles on the scouts, not the bike . . . . ok so the bikes only got 1700 on it now lol riding soon sounds great. on another tire note, my buddy that just got the new klr just went through his rear tire. 1000 miles and it was toast! those tires stock on the klr are junk! we went to pony and picked up a shinko |
